Rippling across the equator for nearly 5000km, Indonesia encompasses more than 17,000 islands.
Expect an island experience like no other, combining three totally different islands and types of waves into one amazing trip. Starting in Bali, we will ease you into surfing the famous reef breaks around 'The Bukit' area that Indonesia is famous for, given the conditions on the day. The next stop is Lombok to surf some of the most beautiful waves you can ever imagine, then onto Nusa Lembongan where we will take you out at the famous Playgrounds, Shipwrecks and Lacerations (plus a little secret spot we know). For the last two weeks we fly back to Bali to spend the remainder of the trip traveling up the West Coast, where the crowds get thinner and the waves longer. 500m rides can be expected here...
Next trip: 1st May to 12th june 2017. Find out more and download the brochure here.
Tiered pricing - see live rates at www.tickettoridegroup.com
Food is not included in the price of the surf trip, however food in Indonesia is very cheap. £10 per day will work nicely to feed you 3 meals, but worth taking a bit extra for Bintangs.
Are you prepared to take your surfing to the next level?
The most amazing thing about surfing in Indonesia is how perfect the waves are, which means you really get to try the same thing over and over again until you get it right. Also being dropped off on a boat means the paddle out is easy and you get to catch more waves using less effort in a shorter space of time. It really is a surfing paradise.
We surf every type of wave imagineable, usually in their most perfect form, regardless if it is reef, beach break, rock or point break.
In Bali we surf a mix of beach breaks, deep reef breaks, wedges and shallower reef breaks (for those who are ready). This gives a great opportunity to gain experience and to feed off the knowledge of your instructors who will guide you through every step of the way.
In Lombok and Nusa Lembongan we progress riders onto reef breaks. Some are easy and soft whilst others are shallower and sharper, and once again you will only surf the spots that are most appropriate for you and move up to the more challenging spots when you are ready for it.
You will need a flight into Denpansar where your trip leaders will pick you to start your Indo surf adventure (1st May), and drop you off well in time for your departure flight on the final day (12th June 2017).
