Introduction to The Malibu Motel

The coolest joint in town, the Malibu Motel is a short walk from the world famous surf break, Malibu. Long, perfect waves roll down this sand bottom point break, creating ideal waves for any level of surfer. It is also home to some of the best longboarders in the world, so expect to see some world-class surfing! Located on the Pacific Coast highway, the Malibu Motel is a cool, perfectly located accommodation option offering 18 sleek and clean "Retro-style" rooms . The Motel has its own swimming pool and free wifi . It is within a short walk from the beach, the pier, bars and restaurants.

The Malibu Motel has been completely remodeled boasting a retro-modern feel. Plasma TV's with cable and HBO, DSL access, integrated phone system, refrigerators, deliciously comfortable beds with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and duvet covers are all part of the experience. The motel proudly offers nine rooms with king beds and nine rooms with two queen beds. All of our rooms can be adjoined to accommodate friends and families.

Food and Drink

Within a short walk you have a number of cracking resturants including Charlies which offers amazing seafood, and steak meals. You also have the Malibu Inn which serves amazing food, but we highly reccomend booking in advance. Of course you also have all the normal fast food joints you would expect from the USA.

Surfing at The Malibu Motel

Your surfing experience with Errant in California is with local female pro-longboarder Carla Rowland. Depending on your level Carla will meet and greet you at LAX airport, take you to the motel and arrange for you to be picked up the next day ready for a surf at Malibu with coaching, or a trip down the coast to other Californian surf breaks. All in all this surfing experience is very tailored and exclusive to Errant Surf Holidays. Carla has been a first point surfer at Malibu since she was a kid, and getting waves is not going to be a problem as her guest.
