Introduction to Tulip Apartment - Supertubes

This family-size apartment has 2 good sized bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people when using the sofa bed in the lounge. It is located at ground floor level. Apartment Tulip has a spacious & light open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Within the fully equipped real wood kitchen you will find a 5 ring range style cooker, a washing machine and fridge freezer. The kitchen contains all necessary utensils for your catering needs including granite work surfaces!

The lounge has a wood burning stove for your added comfort, especially in winter. The dining table easily accommodates 6 people and there are sliding doors leading to a small outside patio and poolside tropical gardens.

The bathroom has been newly fitted with a bath and mixer shower, toilet and basin. There is plenty of storage, with each bedroom having chest of drawers and wardrobes. The apartment also contains a cloakroom which is ideal for the storing of surfboards and luggage. There is direct access from the apartment to a large communal enclosed patio where there are steps leading up to the panoramic roof terrace & BBQ's.

Surfing at Tulip Apartment - Supertubes

As this apartment is located in Geraldes you can access many surf spots within a short drive including the world class surf spot Super Tubes considered the best wave in Portugal and one of the best in Europe . It is a fast and tubular wave which breaks on a hollow sand bank. It works best with SW swells and N, NE or NW winds. If you are an expert and like to be barrelled then this is the spot for you! Just south of Super Tubes is Consolação which is a point break wave which means that it breaks next to a rock. It's a very good right hander on a reef bottom, for intermediate and advance surfers. It's fast and tubby on the inside. Works best with NW winds and S and SW swells. Not to mention the miles of coastline to the north and south!
