Introduction to Surf & Adventure Lodge - Aljezur

Tucked away along the surf drenched coastline between Arrifana and Sagres is our very cool, laid back and social surf lodge. This surf lodge in Portugal is ideal for people who like a little chill time, perfectly blended with adventure sports. Of course surfing is the main reason for a surfing holiday to the Algarve, but we also provide daily climbing and mountain bike adventures, for anyone with some energy left after surfing all day!

With comfortable rooms, the lodge also benefits from having its own private pool, free wifi internet, BBQ area, volleyball court and sun terraces with hammocks.

Our Surf Lodge is located in the area of Aljezur between the main surf beaches of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo, approximately 2km away from the sea, just five minutes in the car.

You are not far from several beachbreaks, reefs and points, so you can always choose the best spot!

We have a full self-catering kitchen and BBQ for you to use as you wish. You will also find a number of great places to eat in the local area, our team will be able to help you find these establishments.

Surfing at Surf & Adventure Lodge - Aljezur

The surf that arrives along this coastline is generated out of the North Atlantic Ocean. Arrifana and the local area is blessed by having such a big swell window, the bay picks up any swell in the Atlantic and this means that surfing everyday is a common occurrence.

There is surf to suit all standards of surfers along the south west coast of Portugal, and those looking for the classic hollow waves will not be disappointed. Those looking for gentle waves will also find these in abundance.

At the surf lodge we offer two surfing options for those looking to hit the surf. The first is our surf school option. Well-structured lessons, designed to get people up and riding from day one. The lessons then become more dynamic and personal with in-water coaching and beach theory lessons. The second is our surf guide option. This is for surfers who have surfed a few times, have their own board and just want to find the best surf on any given day. With so many hidden bays and beaches, there is a lot to explore!
