Set along a beautiful sandy beach less than one hour from Lisbon, in an area of protected rural landscape of rolling sand dunes and pine tree forests, Praia D’El Rey Golf & Beach Resort is an oasis of relaxed style and world-class comforts created to reflect the unspoiled natural beauty of its location.

One, two or three-bedroom luxury apartments with living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, coffee machine, TV with satellite channels, DVD player and CD player. All the properties have terraces and/or balconies and access to the condominium's swimming pools.

A minimum stay of two nights is required during the year with the exception during high season which is four nights.

Food and Drink

The apartments are self-catering but there are a number of good bars and restaurants on site.

The Sharx Bar

Daily during the summer season, the Sharx bar serves a different and refreshing pool cocktail of the day. Guests love the informality of this grill restaurant while savouring its fresh and delicious salads, light snacks, meals grilled-on-the-spot, and the tropical array of fresh fruits and desserts. Jump out of the pool and try quick and tasty meals, while watching your children play safely right beside you. Open from: 12 am to 7 pm.

The Ocean Lounge

Come and discover the Marriott's main bar, The Ocean Lounge. In a modern and relaxing atmosphere we serve a vast selection of cocktails made by our professional bartenders, plus a range of carefully prepared small dishes and 'tapas-style' snacks. Share some unforgettable moments here watching the sunset. Open from: 5:30 pm to 2 am.

The Cliffs

The Cliffs, the hotel's lobby bar is the ideal spot for a rendez-vous or the perfect place to relax. Try our tasty coffee creations, pastries and snacks - served all day long whilst you enjoy fantastic views of the Atlantic. Open from: 8 am to midnight.

Surfing at Praia d'el Rey Resort - Apartments

There are some fantastic surf breaks in and around Ericeira in West Portugal. There is plenty more surf to find once you arrive. The surf in Ericeira is good all year round. It is more suitable for new surfers from April till September, with bigger, stronger surf during the winter months. Our surf school is run by two professional surf coaches one from the UK, and the other from Portugal. This fine mix of surfing backgrounds enable them to get the most out of any new surfer, and the best waves for any advanced surfer.
