Introduction to Fisherman's House - Peniche

This self-catering house is located on Baleal Island, in the Peniche surf region. Perched on the side of the island, the cottage overlooks the surf of Lagido, and the surf school which is located 600m away. It is ideal for couples as it got one cute bedroom with a double bed. It has also a living room and a small patio outside to enjoy the sun and the ocean breeze.

There are many bakeries, shops, bars and restaurants in the local area. You are also welcome at the surf camp, for our weekly BBQ's with fellow surfers.

Food and Drink

As a great self-catering option, no food is included in the holidays sold. However each apartment has all the equipment needed to make that perfect meal. That is, of course you can resist the great restaurants and bars a short walk from the Baleia apartments.

Surfing at Fisherman's House - Peniche

Widely recognised as the best and most consistent surf sport in Portugal, the peninsula of Peniche, with both a north and south-facing coastline, always has optimum surfing conditions regardless of the swell and wind direction. You will always find a spot where the wind is blowing offshore creating perfect shaped waves. Within a 15 Km stretch of coastline, you will find more than 20 spots for every type of surfer, ranging from beginner to expert level.
