Peniche is an excellent destination for any surfer, thanks to it’s great location (about 100km North of Lisbon) and it´s number of beaches, catering for professional surfers looking to find an endless pointbreak to the total new beginners looking at hitting the surf for the first time. Here you will find an offshore wave everyday (perfect waves) with various spots that can handle different swells and winds.

Our SurfCamp is located in Casais do Baleal-Peniche-Portugal, a small village where surf culture is part of local´s life. Close to the beaches, Baleal Island and in Ferrel, have also bars, cafés, on the beach where you can eat, drink, watch the sunset or party by night. The many Restaurants, markets, Surf shops and bakeries will accommodate your everyday needs. Baleal is just 5m driving from Peniche and 1 hour from Lisbon.

In addition to working as a school, through Surf and BodyBoard training courses, adapted to various levels, we also offer accommodation in three different modes: shared rooms, apartments and a double / twin room, with a total of 22 beds. Offering our customers a wide range of options and giving them unique moments of sport and leisure in a familial ambiance. The Surf house has as an all-equipped kitchen, bathroom, a common living room with TV and DVD, free internet connection for our clients and patio outside for you to lay and relax, have a chat about the surf, enjoy the sunshine. You can also buy fresh fish or meat and cook up a BBQ. The Apartment has an all-equipped kitchen, private bathroom and private Kitchen with TV and DVD also with access to the common living room and patio to lay, relax and meet new people.

Food and Drink

The Surf Lodge has a big kitchen for everyone to use and typically organize 1 or 2 BBQ’s during the week; 1 of Fish and or 1 of meat and we also go once a week into town to a typical Restaurant to try the much-loved local dishes.

Within a 15km stretch of coastline, considered by the best surfers of Portugal, Europe and the world as one of the best and most consistent Surfspots in Europe and the best in Portugal, Peniche Peninsula has both North and South facing coastline, with a various spots that can handle different swells and winds. Here you will find an offshore wave everyday creating perfect shaped waves.The instructors always gives lessons at the break most appropriate for the client’s level / ability and lessons are conducted in groups of similar ability. Our coastline has at your disposal more than 20 different surfspots to choose for every type of surfing level all from beginners to professional level.
