Introduction to Anchor Point Apartments - Taghazoute

Our Anchor Point apartments are built onto the bed rock of one of the best and most famous point breaks in the whole of Africa. They offer sensational views, incredible location and endless surfing opportunities. The apartments themselves are as close to the point as you can get, with the rock off point just 50 yards from the front door. Each apartment is self catered, with 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6 although one room has 2 double beds in). These are perfect for those who are on a tighter budget than our luxury apartments at killer point, or those who just want to surf one of the best waves in Africa, from sunrise to sunset, every single day.

Food and Drink

Each apartment is fully equipt to enable you to cook at your leisure.The apartments are self-catered, however there is an abundance of restaurants, just 1km from the apartment if you don’t fancy cooking. Or head over to the Hash Point Surf Villa for dinner and meet more people or just chill out with a beer.

Surfing at Anchor Point Apartments - Taghazoute

The The Hash Point Surf Camp surf school has helped hundreds of people learn to surf over the last couple of years. Our dedicated surf instructors provide a supportive environment for you and your family to master the fundamentals of surfing in preparation for your future surfing holidays. The Surf School is located between Taghazout and Aourir, just 15km north of Agadir. The region of Taghazout is blessed with sensational waves and gloriously sunny weather year round. This provides the perfect conditions for learning to surf in. We offer surf lessons and kit hire to all (from 8 years and above) regardless of your surfing ability.

There are two session each day lasting 2 hours each, one beginning at 10am and the other at 2pm.

Within walking distance of the self-catering apartments in Taghazoute, you have seven world-class waves. These include Anka Point, Hash Point, Killer Point, Panoramas, Mysteries, La Source and the wedge. Should the swell drop then we have three 4x4 trucks to venture north, where we can score bigger waves at beach breaks like Tamri and the fun point break of Boilers. You don't want to spend your two weeks waiting for waves - we will find them everyday.
