This newly renovated three star hotel has everything you would expect from an all inclusive surfing holiday. Four swimming pools, 2 Jacuzzis and one baby swimming pool, three restaurants, including International, Mexican and Italian. The hotel also has a big volleyball pitch, and two bars where you can sip on a cold beer after a hard day surfing! For the surfing families out there, the hotel offer a kid's club to keep the little ones entertained while you hit the waves! The hotel sits right on the coastline, although it is a bit further than the surf lodge from the surfing beach.

All prices are based on two people sharing, a single supplement will be charged. A single supplement for the surf lodge is £199 per week. A single supplement in the Casa Laguna is £130 per week. All prices include airport transfers to and from Puerto Plata, it is also possible to arrange transfers from Santiago de los Caballeros at an extra charge.

Food and Drink

This is truely a hassle free surfing holiday in Dominican Republic. All meals are included, and even soft drinks at the Arrecife open-air restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner wine is also served with lunch and dinner. You will also find a la carte dining (Italian restaurant) at Tropical Casa Laguna side of the hotel Mexican theme night in the buffet restaurant

Surfing at Casa Laguna - North Shore

Surfing in Dominican Republic is a tropical surf playground. The waves and surf breaks are suitable for new surfers, people looking to improve and even some spots for the hard core surfer looking at getting some decent wedges and hollow waves.

Our surf school package is aimed at the new, or improving surfer. With top coaching and quality equipment, a trip to Dominican Republic is a great way to spend much time in the warm, bath like water and get better. The surfing lessons take place at Playa Encuentro a short walk from the surf lodges. This sandy bay is ideal, with easy mellow breakers.

For the more advanced surfer, we recommend taking the accommodation only option, hiring a car and heading out each day with advice from our team in search of fast, good waves all around the island. The breaks on the north shore include Encuentro, Yucca Beach, Yellow Reef Rock, El Canal and La Boca all sit on the north shore of the Dominican Republic. It is also possible to surf on the south shore of Dominican Republic, with many breaks located around San Pedro and Barahana.
