Surfing, Villa and pool, what else do we need..

Review of Surf Lodge - Santa Teresa from 24th August
We have had a really good time over the last 3.5 weeks and have enjoyed our stay. The main house where we ate had open plan living at the base with large comfortable seating areas and a big communal table. The room had a large Flat screen TV with tons of DVDs to watch. Owner (Dave) also had Wi-Fi which worked all over the complex. Fresh water was available all day and Dave often baked bread which we eat. Tea/Coffee and milk was provided during our stay but no breakfast food. We often ate with Dave (owner) and split the costs. He is a great cook. Pool is superb and really refreshing. Surrounding areas are well maintained and very attractive with creative landscaping. The location of the accommodation can not be classed as beach side. It is up a side road from the main road that runs parallel with the beach. The side road is around 500m up a hill which is steep in places and removes you from the noise of the main street but is quite a walk if you were carrying a heavy longboard each day.
I just wanted to write and say a big thank you to Dan who took our lesson yesterday. I had bought vouchers for 2 friends birthday presents with your surf school last year and they finally booked in and took a lesson in the rain yesterday and 2 of us joined them for lessons with Dan. They really enjoyed themselves so I just wanted to say thank you. Dan was very patient and a good instructor...I even managed to stand a couple of times, even though it was only for a couple of seconds!! But I found it a more useful lesson than the ones I have had previously and when I return to Newquay in the future I will definately be booking in for another lesson with your school Please pass on my thanks to Dan as we were too knackered to come back in the afternoon!!
