Introduction to Famara Apartments - Lanzarote

The apartments are all located in the tranquil village of Caleta de Famara. Famara village is located in the volcanic national park and is in a protected area. A good night out in Famara is having a good meal at the local restaurant and a cold beer after a long day of surfing. If you want nightlife then the busy resort of Puerto Del Carmen is a short taxi ride away. Our surf school and accommodation is easy-going and has real friendly atmosphere. You can meet people from all over the world with whom you will share this wonderful experience and you will be made to feel right at home.

The apartments are all within walking distance from the surf, the local bars and restaurants. The private apartments have one double room and one twin room or in some cases for larger groups, four separate beds, spacious living rooms and well equipped kitchens. The apartments are of excellent standard, very clean and well maintained.

Food and Drink

We supply a picnic lunch for everyone, but the apartments are self-catering. You have a dozen restaurants in the village of Famara, all serving good, fresh food. There is also three shops were you can buy plenty of food.

Surfing at Famara Apartments - Lanzarote

The Errant surf school in Lanzarote is thought of as being one of the very best beginner and intermediate schools in Europe.

Of course in the Canaries we are blessed with warm water and consistent waves but here in Famara the stunning scenery and 6 kilometers of golden sands make learning to surf a really special experience. Our school uses the most up to date teaching methods available and is the only ISA and BSA Level 4 registered school in the Canaries offering the very highest levels of coaching. No matter what your experience in surfing is, this school guarantees progression for everyone.

This school also offers the very best of equipment using INT and Circle One easy to use softboards for first time surfers and all on the course will ride the extensive range of South Point and Surftech epoxy boards and BIC longboards as they develop their skills. Every day is a full day of coaching with a start time of 10:30 and finishing at 16:00 with low instructors/ pupil ratios of 1/8 or less . Each day there is also constant development through taught in water skills and short information lectures and the course ends with a BSA assessment certificate .
