Taking a private surf lesson in Newquay with one of our highly qualified surf coaches is a great way to improve, or start your surfing. We have the best surfing equipment for you to use and the latest coaching techniques and facilities for your private surf lesson. We have been running private surf coaching sessions for over ten years!

A private surf lesson lasts about two hours. The ideal of the private surf lesson is to get a good understanding of your surfing and to develop a plan for you to use and improve for the following six months. You’ll improve during the private surf lesson, but the idea is you leave with a solid understanding of “what to do next”. We may use video coaching, in-water coaching or a mixture of both to get the best feedback for you. Since its inception, Errant Surf School has helped thousands of surfers improve their coaching at a much faster pace than they would have done under a larger surf school group structure. Private surf sessions are run by Vince Timson; one of the most qualified instructors in the country (whose son is also a top young pro surfer!), Russell Mullins, one of the UK’s most well-known big-wave chargers, or Max Hepworth-Povey, Co-Owner of Errant Surf School.
