Surfing in the Peniche
Widely recognised as the best and most consistent surf sport in Portugal, the peninsula of Peniche, with both a north and south-facing coastline, always has optimum surfing conditions regardless of the swell and wind direction. You will always find a spot where the wind is blowing offshore creating perfect shaped waves. Within a 15 Km stretch of coastline, you will find more than 20 spots for every type of surfer, ranging from beginner to expert level.
Our Peniche Surf School is based on our wealth of experience, the highest Portuguese surf qualifications and the best equipment available. .The school is open to people of all ages, skill levels and nationalities. You will be taught by highly qualified and experienced surfers and surf teachers who are also lifeguards.
Each week you will have 5 days of teaching, with 2 surf sessions a day.
Everyday we will take you off in search of some great waves for your level, beginner or pro.
The Peniche has so many waves that it is possible to surf several surf spots on the same day. We just have to be on the right spot at the right time. At the same time you are surfing, you are visiting different beaches. You will never get bored.
After classes, you can take the surf equipment for a sunset surf if you wish.
In the evenings, we do informal seminars where we watch and comment on the video filmed during the daytime classes. During the weekend, when you are off classes, you can keep the school equipment for free surfing
