Summary

La Hosteria de Latas is Errant Surf Holidays flagship surf lodge and surf school, located in the stunning region of Cantabria, Spain. We are recruiting a new manager who can drive the business to new levels, provide impeccable customer service and manage a small team on a day to day basis. We will provide you with accommodation on site in a double en-suite room within La Hosteria de Latas. Salary is to be negotiated based on experience.

Duties and responsibilities

• Report to directors weekly
• In consultation with the board of directors write and deliver a strategic development programme to create an impeccable accommodation option and holiday experience.
• To arrange and manage office and time management systems.
• Be the main point of contact for customers during their stay with us in Spain.
• Keep track of income and expenses - some accounting background is preferred.
• Deal with local suppliers - fluent written and spoken Spanish is essential.
• Help with day-to-day running, including airport transfers.

Essential requirements

• Background and proven experience in a similar management capacity
• Full, clean driving licence
• Basic understanding of accounting
• Good level of Spanish both written and spoken
• Hold a European passport

Summary

We are looking for new members of our coaching team in Newquay, Cornwall. As a British Surfing Association level 4 surf school we are looking for a highly skilled, professional coach who can provide the best training to our customers.

Duties and responsibilities

• Provide surf coaching to new surfers.
• Provide surf coaching to intermediate surfers.
• Provide surf coaching using video methods.
• Ensure the surf school and equipment is maintained to a high level.
• In agreement with the board of directors create and deliver a plan to increase customers and offerings at the surf school.

Essential requirements

• Valid British Surfing Association Level 2 - 4 surf coach award.
• Valid full NARS Beach Lifeguard Award.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• An up to date CRB check.

We train beach lifeguards and surf coaches all year round.

FREE TRAINING: If you are under 25 years old and not in education, employment or training we can provide free training to gain your Beach Lifeguard Award and become a surf coach.
