Surfing
Much of the coaching will take place at Towan beach or Watergate Bay, depending on the surf.
Watergate Bay is seen as one of the UK's most consistent surf breaks and host to many surf contests, including the English Nationals, Watergate Bay has a long history in surfing. You can surf this beach break right through the tides, with mid to high proving to be slightly better. A shortie can be worn through the summer months and a normal 3/2mm long wetsuit from April through till December. December till March you will need a slightly thicker wetsuit (5/3mm). Many of the UK's top surfers call Watergate home.
