The south coast is beginner friendly with numerous surf breaks. The main spot is Surfers Point; this break has waves all year and is safe for beginners and kids. Just close by there is South Point, Freights Bay and Silver Sands. All of which provide excellent surf conditions on any given day, all backed by lush palm tree's.

Just back at work, I made a good holiday of it and had the full week off. The surf lesson was brilliant. Not sure if your man told you but I fluked getting up on my first attempt. Loved it and can see why people get addicted to surfing.
